Aggressive - this is a type of poker player who generates more action than anybody else in the poker table. It is the opposite of a passive player. He raises or reraises most of the time.

Center pot - in poker, like Texas Hold'em poker, there are two types of pot. First is the center pot and the other is the side pot. The center pot is the main one, while the side pot happens when somebody has already bet all-in, and the others have called, but wanted to raise.

Chip - are rounded objects that look like coins. They are made of plastic, composite or other materials. They are used in place of money at the poker table. They are the ones used for betting.

Dealer - in poker, the term dealer can mean two things. One is that it may mean the person shuffling the cards and giving it to the players at the poker table. Another meaning would be refers to a certain position in Texas Hold'em poker.

Downcard - in poker, specifically in Texas Hold'em poker, the players' hole cards are dealt facing down, which is also called downcard.

Flash - there are two different meanings of the word flash in poker. One of these meanings is that it is an act of the dealer to let the bottom card of the deck be seen. The other meaning is that it is done when a poker player show one or two of his hole cards to other players after the round, usually to show that he is bluffing, which is a mockery to other players, because they fell for it.

Full boat - in poker, a full boat is another term for a full house. A full boat is composed of three cards of the same type, like three 5's, and a pair, like, two Jacks.

Hole cards - these are the cards given to you initially. In Texas Hold'em poker, they are the two cards dealt to you at the beginning of every round.

Raise - is to place a bet more than the required amount to call. A poker player raises because he has a good hand and is confident to win or he has a bad hand and wishes to make other players at the poker table by raising.

Ram and Jam - also signify aggression in a poker player. This is the act of raising or reraising most of the time.
